Lloyd's Type Approval for hydrogen fuel cell system
PowerCell’s Marine System 225 has received Type Approval from Lloyd’s Register, helping advance the use of hydrogen for vessel propulsion and alternative fuels at sea.
The approval confirms that the Marine System 225 meets rigorous international standards for safety, performance and design.
For PowerCell, it marks a significant step toward decarbonising the maritime industry through hydrogen fuel
