French shipbuilder OCEA has signed a significant contract with the Philippines for the supply of 40 fast patrol boats along with integrated logistics support and maintenance services

The deal for the 35m patrol boats of type FPB 110 MKII, is part of a broader intergovernmental agreement between France and the Philippines signed in 2024, reinforcing bilateral cooperation in maritime security and defence.

This latest contract showcases French industrial competitiveness abroad and follows a deal in 2018 – 2019 for the delivery of four FPB 72s and the world’s largest aluminium OPV to the Philippines.
