SMD’s first E-ROV signed up by Jan De Nul
Subsea equipment manufacturer SMD has signed the first contract for its new electric ROV with one of the world’s biggest marine contractors, Jan De Nul.
The Quantum EV will be deployed on a 200-metre-long, 28,000-tonne-carrying cable-laying vessel that should be delivered in 2026.
