A new industry guide on the use of tugs in firefighting has been launched to strengthen marine safety and emergency response protocols.

Unveiled at the British Tugowners Association (BTA) Annual Conference in Belfast, the ’Use of Tugs in Firefighting’ guide is the first UK-specific resource of its kind, offering vital direction for tug operators on effective firefighting and towing procedures.
