Two special Norwegian workboats ordered for 2025

The vessel's interior is built to a particularly high standard (Fitjar)

Norwegian maritime contractor Finnsnes Dykk & Anleggsservice has ordered another two rather splendid workboats from shipbuilder Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted As.

If awards were presented for the internal and external aesthetics of a commercial workboat, the builder’s FMV54 class, described as “Norway’s roughest construction vessel”, would be a strong contender to take the crown.
