The 25th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Speed@Seawork on Monday 10 June in Cowes offers a sector specific event that showcases fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and Search & Rescue. Vard inks €250m cable layer deal
Vard has signed a major deal to build a cable laying vessel for Swedish company, NKT HV Cables
The contract was signed on 15 December 2023 and is worth between €200-€250 million.
The hull for the cable laying vessel will be built at Vard Tulcea in Romania and outfitted and delivered from one of VARD’s yards in Norway in Q4 2026.
