Finland based marine engine manufacturer Wartsila has boosted its range of engineering services available in Italy by opening a new workshop in Taranto, an important commercial hub in the Puglia region of Southern Italy.
The Tamar is faster than its predecessor, and is the most technologically advanced lifeboat ever to be produced by the RNLI.The new workshop is equipped to perform overhauls for both gas and diesel engines. An experienced 12 man team extends a Wartsila presence in Italy which has been ongoing for more than 20 years.
