Hamburg’s Empire Riverside Hotel is the venue for this second international one-day event on Wednesday 20 September at which over 250 industry leaders are expected to be present.
Dedicated to an authoritative review of present as well as future ECDIS and e-Navigation developments and sponsored by 12 leading organisations, proceedings open with a welcoming address by the recently elected Secretary-General of the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO), Mathias Jonas. Thereafter they comprise specialist presentations by 10 keynote speakers, 6 workshops and consideration of 4 nominations for prestigious awards. The itinerary also includes a guided tour of Hamburg’s celebrated Maritime Museum followed by an evening reception at the City’s Senate which will also feature a special Awards ceremony.
