Leicester UK based welding and metal fabrication specialists AceArc have developed heavy duty armour which is protecting cutter suction dredgers engaged in creating the worlds largest two man made islands off the coast of Dubai. The Ace700/700S saltwater wearplate manufactured by AceArc isbeing used by the companys Dutch partner Breeman & van Seventer BV to make suction heads and mouths and complete wear liners for dredging equipment.
