Maasvlakte beach making progress

The first part of the new beach along the Maasvlakte 2 container terminal in The Netherlands will be ready for use in May 2012. The rest of the beach will be accessible from November 2012.

New beaches being built as part of Maasvlakte 2 project will be used for a range of recreational activity.

The 7 km long beach has been designed to provide space for a range of activities including water sports.
