Teledyne to acquire RESON
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated of the USA and the shareholders of RESON A/S of Denmark have entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition of RESON by a wholly owned subsidiary of Teledyne.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions and is expected to occur during the first quarter of this year.
RESON provides high resolution marine acoustic imaging and measurement solutions and has sold some 1,400 echosounders worldwide whilst also providing multibeam sonar systems and acoustic sensors for hydrogrpahy, marine infrastructure and offshore energy operations.
