ISP showcases largest safety range
International Safety Products (ISP) has unveiled its range of marine safety products – one of the UK’s largest ranges – in a special open day on Britain’s last remaining three masted top sail schooner.
The special event took place onboard the 113 year old Kathleen & May, located in Canning Dock, Liverpool.
The aim of the event was to showcase the ISP’s largest ever portfolio of equipment, including lifejackets, Durray Challenger liferafts and the Ocean Signal range of Global Maritime Distress and Safety Signal (GMDSS) products and personal locator beacons.
The company also used the open day to introduce its new items, including Hanson Protection immersion suits and Alcares safety lights.
“We had a terrific day aboard the Kathleen & May. ISP has been gradually expanding its product portfolio with selected, high calibre and world renowned brands. This has allowed us to provide greater depth, variety and quality of service,” said Geoff Billington, sales director for ISP.
“The event gave us an opportunity to showcase our complete range and set out ISP’s stall as a leading international manufacturer and distributor of marine safety equipment,” he added.
Guests were treated to live demonstrations of the Durray Challenger SOLAS and ISO liferafts in action. Other products on show included first relief AISD navigation systems.
