Jo Bird’s award
UK safety equipment storage expert Jo Bird & Co has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2013 in recognition of its impressive export performance.
The prestigious accolade is given to businesses in recognition of outstanding achievement in international trade. Jo Bird received it after growing its exports from £733,000 in 2009 to £1.77m in 2012.
The company specialises in providing durable protection for essential lifesaving and fire safety equipment, suitable for use in the world’s most extreme environments.
