Cost Standards for Dredging Equipment Indexation 2013 lists the replacement value for ex-works, yard or importer for most dredging equipment including dredgers, jack-ups and steel pipelines.

IADC’s next seminar on dredging and land reclamation will take place from 21 to 25 October in Singapore. Topics on the agenda include the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ports, project phasing, dredging equipment and project costings.

There will also be a foum on early contractor involvement which will be held from 14 to 14 November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The two day forum will bring together experts responsible for construction projects to discuss partnering arrangements and reducing the likelihood of coming up against delays, postponements and risk during large projects.

This forum will lead on from the first forum held on the subject two years ago in London. The keynote speaker will be Dean Kashiwagi, Professor at Arizona State University’s School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment (SSEBE), Director of Performance Based Studies Research Group (PBSRG) at the Del E. Webb School of Construction (DEWSC).
