Dometic Marine expands offering

Dometic Marine is expanding its product line with a complete, optimised package of water line pressurisation components, launched at Europort this week.

Vectronic has been designed to cool machinery rather than cool cabins

The newly introduced components are for its high-velocity RushFlush toilet system.

The ‘pressure package’ includes all the necessary parts to help with the toilet system’s installation – a high-capacity water pump, pressure accumulator tank, pressure gauge, check valve and pump inlet filter.

Julien Lefeuvre, head of marine OEM – EMEA, Dometic, said: “Offering such pre-matched components with a proven record of efficiency and reliability will benefit RushFlush toilet installers more than ever in terms of easier installation and reliable, long-lasting performance in demanding marine applications.”

Dometic has also extended its range of self-contained systems with the development of a new air conditioning unit specifically adapted to cool electronics and other equipment in harsh, workboat environments.

Vectronic is an 18,000 British Thermal Unit (BTU) water-cooled unit that features a custom-made digital controller and circuit board and features a drain pan for the fast removal of condensate water.

In addition, the company recently acquired Livos Technology Inc, a provider of engine room ventilation equipment and systems.

The company says the acquisition will broaden its offering to its customers with new marine ventilation equipment including axial fans, centrifugal blowers, smoke and fire dampers, mist-eliminating grille and electronic fan controls.
