Gdansk 1m TEU
DCT Gdansk has joined the ranks of container terminals handling 1m TEU annually and more.
After only six years of operating as a hub port for Central/Eastern Europe and Russia, DCT handled its millionth TEU of the year on the 15 November whilst working a Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller ship.
This is a milestone not only for the terminal, but for the entire Polish container business. For many decades the Polish market was serviced by foreign ports. The creation of DCT Gdansk has given Polish importers and exporters a reliable and efficient facility which meets the highest international standards.
