Yanmar unveils new engines

Yanmar presented its newly launched engines with advanced technical features at the recent Boot Dusseldorf exhibition in Germany.

Yanmar's new engines were on show at Boot Dusseldorf

The company’s new common rail JH-CR four-cylinder diesel engine was on show ahead of the start of production this summer. The new compact ‘mid range’ is available in 45, 57, 80 and 110 hp versions, which Yanmar says makes it suitable for fast RIBs and tenders. The engine has been designed to reduce noise, while direct fuel injection results in improved diesel consumption.

Traditional push/pull operation is offered on each engine as a standard and electronic engine control with multifunctional displays is also available.

Also on show at Boot Dusseldorf was the new 6BY3-160 and the company’s new steering system.
