IADC Seminar
The Netherlands based International Association of Dredging Companies’ (IADC) Seminar on Dredging and Land Reclamation will take place this year for the first time in Australia, in Brisbane on 31 March – 4 April.
Since 1993 IADC, often in cooperation with local universities and/or other associations, has provided this Seminar, combining classroom lectures and workshops with a site visit to a dredging project.
IADC has developed this comprehensive Seminar for professionals in dredging related industries – presented by professionals from the major dredging companies.
The in-depth lectures are given by dredging experts from IADC member companies, whose practical knowledge and experience add an extra value to the classroom lessons. Amongst the subjects covered are: the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ports; project phasing; descriptions of types of dredging equipment; costing of projects; and types of dredging projects.
