Dredge pump deal
Dutch company Dredge Yard and UK based Altair HyperWorks have agreed to cooperate for the design and engineering of dredging and mining pumps.
Dredge Yard is a company dedicated to engineering, consulting and production of dredgers, dredging and mining equipment and technology while Altair HyperWorks is a specialist in the engineering, simulation and software of fluid dynamics.
Dredge Yard will be using the technology of Altair HyperWorks for the design, simulation and calculation of dredging and mining pumps. Altair HyperWorks will train several engineers from Dredge Yard in its facilities, enabling them to optimise modeling, analysis, visualisation and data management solutions for linear, nonlinear, structural optimisation, fluid-structure interaction, and multi-body dynamics applications.
