New Incat Crowther passenger vessel
Australia’s Incat Crowther has a new 25m catamaran passenger vessel under construction at Aluminium Marine in Brisbane.
The vessel, which is available for purchase, is based on the successful Spirit of Queenstown, also built by Aluminium Marine and launched in 2013. It’s compliant with Australian NSCV code for vessels under 24m and under 25 knots.
Like all Aluminium Marine vessels, including Fantasea Sunrise, Freedom Sovereign and Cobia, the vessel is being is being built to a high standard and is customisable to the operator’s requirements. The vessel can be configured for commuter service or tourist operations.
The vessel’s contemporary, sophisticated look lends it well to a tourist operation, whilst the underlying hull and structure are rugged and versatile.
It will be fitted with a pair of Yanmar 6AYM-WGT main engines meaning it will be able to operate efficiently and comfortably at a service speed of 24 knots in a loaded condition.
