Jumbo transports a beaver
Jumbo Shipping’s MV Fairload has transported a IHC Beaver Dredger and a workboat from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to Lazaro Cardenas in Mexico.
The experienced crew assisted in dismantling the cutter ladder part of the dredger using the Fairload’s cranes and then the cutter ladder was stowed below deck together with the workboat.
The main dredger was stowed on deck. It measured in at 47.15 x 12.45 x 11.60m and weighed 356 tonnes.
During the operation, the MV Fairload positioned itself with ample space between the cranes while the units were manoeuvred which meant that the whole process ran safely and efficiently.
Jumbo operates three heavy load transport vessels which predominantly work in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
