Ibercisa penetrates Brazil
Spanish towing machinery supplier Ibercisa has announced its attendance at the 2014 edition of Navalshore to be held in Rio de Janeiro from the 12th – 14th August. This reflects the importance the Brazilian market now represents for this company.
In Brazil the company has been certified by Petrobras, and over the last two years has already supplied machinery to Muliceiro, Corema, Tugbrasil and Hermasa Navegaçao da Amazonia.
Today, Ibercisa enjoys a strong presence in the tug sector, AHT vessels and offshore industry worldwide. Indeed 80% of its production goes to foreign markets, mainly Brazil, Russia, China, Norway, Holland, Mexico and Singpore.
Machinery is designed at the company’s technical office in close collaboration with owners and majoring, they claim, on adaptability and practicality. Ibercisa has ISO 9001 and 14001 quality certificates and recently obtained an OHSAS 18001 Certificate.
