New Mersey Maritime awards
The UK’s Mersey Maritime, which represents the interests of the shipping, ports and logistics sector, is to host an industry awards dinner in 2015 that will bring the North West maritime sector together.
There are nine awards up for grabs: Business of the Year¸ Vocational Skills Award, SME Business of the Year, Engineering Company of the Year, Environmental Award, Supply Chain Partnership, Best Newcomer, Global Reach Award and Ambassador of the Year Award.
“It will be an annual event designed to celebrate excellence within the maritime logistics and energy sectors. It will also help businesses to network while providing a forum for discussion,” said Chris Shirling-Rooke, activing CEO, Mersey Maritime.
Even sponsors include Cammell Laird, Grant Thornton and Liverpool John Moores University.
Applications can be made online and need to be submitted by 16 January 2015.
