MacArtney goes ‘green’
Denmark-based underwater technology company, MacArtney, has created a new connectivity solutions brand, ‘GreenLink’, to meet an increase in demand from the marine renewable energy sector.
MacArtney says this move will enable it to provide commercially viable connectivity solutions for harvesting and harnessing renewable power generated.
The backbone of the GreenLink range is the GreenLink Inline Termination, developed to make offshore inline connections faster, easier and more effective while closing the gap between the power generation platform and the onshore power grid.
GreenLink Inline Termination solutions are often used to connect dynamic cables from offshore renewable wind, tidal and wave energy converters to export cables.
