Baker anticipates growth
UK based international ecological consultancy Baker Consultants is consolidating its presence in Wales and the South West with a new office in Swansea following increased demand from the renewables sector.
The new Swansea office will cover both terrestrial and marine environments and will be a permanent base for two of the firm’s ecologists – Diana Clark, senior ecologist, and Helen Hedworth, marine consultant.
It will focus on giving ecological advice in relation to planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments and protected species work, also the impacts of sound on the marine environment on projects ranging from offshore wind, wave generation or tidal lagoon developments, through to those affecting the coastal environment.
Baker Consultants specialises in consultancy in the marine and terrestrial environments. It delivers a comprehensive consultancy service including biological surveys, data assessment, interpretation and advocacy.
