‘Connecting Projects to the Grid’

A ‘Connecting Projects to the Grid’ masterclass is set to take place on 14 May 2015 at Burges Salmon, London, to help energy project developers secure a grid connection to both distribution and transmission networks.

With only limited capacity available in some areas in the UK, there are many factors to consider when applying for a grid connection for a new build energy project. The masterclass, organised by Waterfront Conference Company, will give participants the chance to hear from DNOs on the work they’re doing to improve connection times; the National Grid on future energy scenarios; and review technical consideration and explore methods that can help improve connection times.

Speakers confirmed for the masterclass include James Bennett from Wester Power Distribution, Graham Campbell from Scottish Power Energy, Julian Leslie from the National Grid and Tony Glover from the Energy Networks Association, among others.

Rates are reduced to public sector or voluntary organisation (£299 + VAT or £199 + VAT), or the standard conference fee is £449 + VAT.
