Cygnus Instruments chose Esprit to provide the PCB manufacture and in-circuit test solutions for its Cygnus DIVE.
The unique and robust Cygnus DIVE is a wrist-mountable underwater ultrasonic thickness gauge enabling a free hand in a challenging underwater operation. Featuring a large, bright colour display, the gauge can perform metal thickness measurements at depths of up to 300 meters, even in poor visibility. The gauge employing multiple measuring modes suits a wide variety of applications including metal thickness and corrosion checks on offshore structures and pipelines, safety inspections on bridges and ships classification surveys.
