The very first use of an Autonomous Surface Vehicle (ASV) to conduct bathymetry for updating US charts on behalf of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has been completed this summer in the Alaskan Arctic, reports the geospatial company TerraSond in Houston.
