Baltic sea ports'' cargo volumes reached all time high in 2011.
In total, 839.0m tonnes of cargo was handled, which was 3.7% more than in 2010 and slightly more than in 2007. Cargo volumes grew in all Baltic Sea region countries except for Sweden and Poland. As a result of a strong growth in Ust-Luga, half of the 10 biggest ports are now located in the Gulf of Finland.
