The MCA has embarked upon an industry wide consultation on the draft Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Pollution by Sewage and Garbage from Ships) Regulations 2008 which will impose the new provisions of MARPOL Annex IV (Sewage) and Annex V (Garbage).
