Cerberus sonar installation at OMS
UK-headquartered Ocean Marine Systems (OMS) has completed the factory installation of Atlas Elektronik UK’s Cerberus Yacht Sonar system at its premises, in partnership with a UK-based security consultant.
The diver detection system provides 360-degree sub-surface security protection and will be deployed using OMS’ retracting through-hull instrument hoist.
The hoist enables active sonar to be deployed with the vessel in motion, resulting in continuous monitoring of sub-surface activity around a vessel.
The deployment hoists have already been installed on a number of superyacht, offshore and military applications
The OMS hoist is part of an overall integrated security solution that has been supplied by the security consultant involved in the installation.
OMS produce a range of products for marine instrument deployment systems suitable for the offshore oil & gas, survey and search & rescue industries.
