A new project to explore using artificial intelligence to manage the structure integrity of offshore wind turbines has launched

INTEGRIA, which stands for ‘research into structural INTEGRity in offshore wind using Artificial Intelligence based-models’ will last for three years and is backed by the Basque government and the European Regional Development Fund.

The project will explore creating digital models to detect and prevent failures, fatigue and degradation of wind turbine components to help extend the life of offshore wind farms.
