First turbine switches on at world’s largest offshore wind farm


The first wind turbine at what will be the world’s largest offshore wind farm has begun producing electricity.

Dogger Bank wind farm, 70 nautical miles off the northwest coast of England, is being installed in three 1.2GW phases, A, B and C.
