Loki Dynamics imanaging director Andrew Hughes will also join Shock WBV as business development director, and Loki as a company will be appointed global sales agent for all of Shock WBV’s products and services.

Shock WBV won Seawork’s Electronics, Equipment and Materials Innovations Showcase award in 2022, before going on to install its suspension seats and shock-mitigating seat inserts in an America’s Cup fleet.

“This collaboration enables Shock WBV to take a leading role in shock mitigation, both at sea and on land,” said Shock WBV managing director Graham Brown. “With Loki Dynamics’ industry focus and expertise, we can better serve our existing and future customers by delivering tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.”

“Appointing Loki Dynamics as the global sales conduit for WBV not only strengthens our commercial reach but also allows our team to concentrate on the design, manufacturing, and assembly of WBV products at our Hampshire, UK facility,” said Dan Hughes, managing director of Sea Sure, which is Shock WBV’s parent company.
