IADC Dredging and Reclamation Seminar
The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) is organising an International Seminar on Dredging and Reclamation.
The event will be held from Monday 24 June through Friday 28 June at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education at Delft in the Netherlands. The five day course strives to provide understanding through expert lectures and workshops partly conducted during visits to dredging projects.
The seminar will provide an overview of the dredging market, the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ones; project phasing; types of dredging equipment and boundary conditions for their use; dredging and reclamation techniques, including environmental measures, site and sol investigations; costing projects and types of contract; design and measurement of works and early contractor involvement.
