Marine robot technology company Ocean Infinity has appointed Dan Walker as non-executive director.
Walker joins the young firm Ocean Infinity, which specialises in the development and deployment of robotics for large-scale, subsea data acquisition.
Walker has held senior leadership roles across the energy and natural resources industries, including vice president of engineering at BP.
He has post-doctoral research in fluid and structural dynamics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under his belt, and is a chartered mechanical engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Walker joins board members Ross Hyett, Oliver Plunkett and Peter Forhaug.
