Planning granted for ABP in Hull
ABP has been granted planning permission to develop 400,000m2 of industrial, manufacturing and logistics land.
Outline planning consent has been given to Associated British Ports to expand the Port of Hull by 453 acres, including 212 acres within the Tax Assisted Zone.
CBRE and Savills were appointed by ABP as agents and advisers on the project, a major port-centric manufacturing and logistics site for Hull.
“The Humber International Enterprise Park is one of the premier development sites in the North of England,” said regional director for the Humber Simon Bird. “It’s an exciting opportunity and great to have planning permission so that HIEP can now get up and running.”
The development means that port-centric manufacturers and distributors will get easy access to import and export commodities and at the same time benefit from the freeport status.
