iSurvey offshore contracts
The Aberdeen, UK-based division of Norway’s Oslo-based iSurvey global survey and positioning organisation has been awarded a three-year contract for provision of hydrographic and rig positioning services to Shell UK, Shell NAM, Norske Shell and Shell E&P Ireland.
The arrangement, which includes options for two one-year extensions, will see the specialist company provide non-exclusive rig, surface and subsurface positioning, dimensional control and platform surveys to Shell’s mobile offshore drilling units.
Separately, following earlier two-year operations, the company’s Singapore division has obtained a further marine construction survey support contract for Solstad Offshore Asia Pacific’s 2017 pipeline and platform installation programme in Thailand. Recently begun with options for extension in 2018 and 2019, work includes monitoring during jacket setting together with final positioning, levelling and survey assistance covering also ROV subsea operations.
