Port lays out ambitious solar and wind plans
Peel Ports Group has put in planning applications for what could be the UK’s largest solar power generation project.
More than 60,000 solar panels with a generation capacity of 31MW will be installed on the roofs of 26 buildings at the port, alongside the re-powering of five wind turbines along the river.
