Marine electronics distributor C A Clase (UK) Ltd will present the new Nauticomp Centric GB Series of IMO approved display screens and the new KVH TracPhone FB150 satellite communications system for the first time at this years Seawork International.
Visitors to Stand 110 will also be offered information on the innovative new Auto Skew feature introduced to the KVH TracVision M7, as well as the expansion of KVH’s World Satellite Library, to benefit customers of the TracVision M5, M7 and M9 satellite TV solutions.
Ensuring the demands of today’s commercial vessels are fully met, the Nauticomp Centric GB series provides the complete look and feel of an authentic ‘Glass Bridge’ while delivering high performance and robust display screen equipment.
Designed for multiple display installations, a compact remote is available for the Centric GB series which can control up to five screens. Multiple inputs enable users to display all sources on each screen with total redundancy. Furthermore, Centric GB display screens feature Nauticomp’s thin edge design, ensuring the cleanest possible look for the pilothouse.
With a diameter of 10.5″, the TracPhone FB150 is KVH’s most compact TracPhone system to date and has been specifically designed to provide smaller vessels with a cost effective FleetBroadband solution. The fully stabilized TracPhone FB150 provides IP data connections of up to 150 Kbps as well as simultaneous voice and SMS services via Inmarsat’s trusted FleetBroadband network. Furthermore, the TracPhone FB150 uses the new Inmarsat I-4 satellite constellation which ensures reliable and high quality coverage to customers around the world.
KVH has introduced a new Auto Skew feature to its TracVision M7 satellite TV antenna to enhance quality and eliminate the need for manual adjustment. The new Auto Skew functionality enables the antenna’s skew angle to change automatically, in accordance with the vessel’s geographical position, providing optimum performance and enhanced reception.
KVH has added new satellites to its World Satellite Library, to benefit new customers of its TracVision M5, M7 and M9 satellite TV antennas. The satellite library extension means that more satellite information is accessible, making changing satellites easier and eliminating the need for specific satellite information to be entered manually by crew onboard.
