The International Maritime Rescue Federation has announced the fourth in its ‘Gothenburg’ series of conferences on maritime mass rescue operations, to be held in Sweden next June. The theme of the conference will be ‘Learning from Experience’.

The event will be held on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 June 2017, hosted by IMRF Members the Swedish Sea Rescue Society at its headquarters facility in Gothenburg. As has now become usual in IMRF mass rescue conferences, there will be a live exercise event on the Sunday afternoon, 11 June, for those delegates arriving in the city over the weekend.

Delegates will be able to hear about, and to discuss, mass rescue operations challenges and solutions, based on carefully analysed case studies. If you are in the emergency response, shipping or offshore industries you really should attend!

The conference fee, including all activities and refreshments, and transport to the venue from discounted conference hotels in the city, is €500 for IMRF members, and €800 for non-members.
