Monitoring & Control

We can add monitoring to almost any device, not only aids to navigation. It might be that you have several lights, vibration sensors, meteorological sensors or of course buoys that you would like to monitor, or it might be that you want different data from different assets. i.e. the position, wave height and battery voltage might be important from a navigation buoy but knowing whether your Port Entry Light is on and at what intensity might be what you want to know from that station.

IALA AtoN Compliant Installation & Maintenance

The Mariners safety is our primary concern, and to ensure your assets achieve the highest possible availability, we can take the pressure off of you by maintaining your AtoNs within the guidelines of you AtoN Policy, assisting you in creating a policy from the start to enable foresight and accurate budgeting with a 5-10 year plan created for each and every station. Not only do we offer surveys of existing equipment and future passageways, we’re also able to install and commission your fixed or floating Aids to Navigation. Suitable IALA compliant Lanterns, Buoys, Port Entry Lights, Sectored Lights, Structures and Columns also available with the same turnkey services as an option.

PELS – Port entry Lights

High-Definition Sector Lights are PEL (Port Entry Lights) characterized by their long range (up to 5 nautical miles day range), their low consumption (70W) and their highest accuracy in every sector boundary (below than 0.05º).These lights are provided with oscillating boundaries as an option, thus offering accurate information on the vessel position in the entry channel.

LED Rotating Beacons

Navmoor can proudly supply, install, maintain, and monitor rotating beacons with luminous ranges of up to 27 nautical miles, maintaining the beautiful sweeping beam associated with traditional lighthouses. The MBR300R seen above is a medium and long-range rotating beacon, fitted with state-of-the-art LED instead of marine lamps. This provides a low-consumption and low-maintenance beacon for more than 100,000 hours. It is ideally designed for isolated solar installations, able to reach up to 23 nautical miles.

Self-contained solar lanterns

Navmoor offers a substantial range of self-contained IALA compliant lanterns, from 1 to 15nm. Above, is the MCL200 is a compact LED marine lantern, solar self-contained, with great optical efficiency and low consumption, fitted with LED diodes of high intensity, reaching a nominal range up to 7-9 nautical miles and offering a large autonomy.

AIS AtoN Systems – Types 1 & 3, Fixed or Floating and integrated sensors where required.

The MTU AIS-C transponder is a compact AIS AtoN device, providing automatic information on the GPS position of the marine aid to navigation (AtoN); thus making easy the location and identification of buoys, beacons and lighthouses on a vessel or an AIS Base Station chart.

IALA Compliant Navigation Buoys from 400mm to 3000mm diameter

Pictured above is the EBM36HV elastomer 3000mm diameter buoy. Characterized by their high-visibility superstructure. They are perfect to be deployed in places where their day mark must be recognised from a long distance, such as landfall buoys. Thanks to their solid construction, they are virtually unsinkable, even against a strong impact. Besides, they can withstand repeated collisions without deforming. An entire buoy range is available and in three raw materials: steel, polyethylene, and elastomer.
