Williams Shipping, a fifth-generation family-run business with over 130 years of experience in the marine and logistics sectors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Brooks, Marine Operations Director to the Main (Group) Board.

Known for his extensive expertise, commitment to operational excellence, and dedication to team welfare, Richard has played a key role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of marine projects across the country. His promotion is a recognition of his consistent contribution to the growth and success of the marine division.
Richard is also a prominent figure in the wider maritime industry, serving as Chairman of the Workboat Association since 2020, further highlighting his active engagement in shaping safety, technical and best practice standards across the industry.

Richard, who has more than 25 years of experience in the marine industry and has served in the Royal Naval Reserve throughout his career, commented:
