New kit cuts a Swathe in survey provision

Within a matter of days of announcing the inclusion of the SONIC2024 in their rental pool of survey equipment, the company immediately placed two systems for hire with a major UK survey company, on a contract that has now extended beyond three months and looks certain to continue to the end of the year.

Having proved the capabilities of the SONIC2024 to their client throughout this rental period, Swathe Services has received an order to supply the complete SONIC 2024 system, including the Valeport MiniSVS.

The flexibility, frequency and swath agility of the SONIC2024, along with its simplicity of operation, reliability and high quality data output, has proved a winning combination for clients and further orders are imminent.

In line with the recent expansion of Swathe Services, the company has established a new division in the UK to concentrate on providing the latest technology to the survey industry. Swathe Sales and Support Ltd will focus on equipment sales, training and support in the UK and Europe.

The company will continue to build on the success of their survey support services providing highly qualified survey personnel and equipment to marine contractors around the world under the banner of Swathe Services (UK) Ltd.

The Australian division continues to expand and develop and Swathe is now establishing representation in France, which will allow it to offer local support to European clients.
