Garmin acquires Lumishore marine LED lighting
Garmin has acquired Lumishore, a leading manufacturer of high-performance above and underwater LED lighting systems for vessels.
The strategic acquisition will integrate premium LED lighting into Garmin’s existing marine portfolio.
“Lumishore brings an exciting new product category that complements Garmin’s existing marine portfolio and furthers our ability to provide seamless vessel integration,” said Jarrod Seymour, marine segment leader, Garmin.

Strong brand
Founded over 15 years ago, Lumishore is renowned for its advanced vessel lighting systems, offering a variety of single, dual and full-colour change lighting options and its products are trusted across a range of boats, from small runabouts to luxury superyachts.
This acquisition positions Garmin as a key player in the marine LED lighting market, adding another layer of innovation to its marine offerings.

Lumishore is based in Swansea, UK, with a distribution centre in Sarasota, Florida. All associates will join the Garmin workforce as part of this acquisition. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
