Web-based fleet management solution

FleetManager 4.0 has a new interface, integration of Microsoft Power BI, universal browser compatibility and innovative weather data overlays.

Building on the success of its predecessor, FleetManager 4.0 introduces a refreshed HTML5-based web interface that combines modern aesthetics with the familiar workflow and features trusted by users. The software offers compatibility with popular internet browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

One of the standout features of FleetManager 4.0 is the full integration of Microsoft Power BI, providing comprehensive business intelligence and analytics dashboards so that shoreside managers gain real-time graphical representations of their fleet’s data.

The latest release enables the visibility and comparison of C-Map Routing Service’s recommended routes against the Master’s intended routes, allowing for informed decision-making.

FleetManager 4.0 also introduces 17 new weather forecast data layers, including sea surface temperature, fog/visibility, precipitation, and ice. These weather overlays supplement existing layers such as wind speed, wave height, surface pressure, and tropical storm tracks.

The development team behind FleetManager 4.0 has taken mobile and tablet support into consideration, with beta versions currently in progress and expected to be available soon.

These advances integrate with the existing features of FleetManager. Users can access a comprehensive library of pre-built reports covering vessel performance, efficiency, and government-mandated reports. The solution also offers real-time alerts for under performance and schedule deviations, data validation to ensure accurate information, and more.

C-Map’s FleetManager 4.0 showcases the company’s commitment to delivering fleet intelligence and management solutions to the maritime industry. C-Map merged with Navico Group, which also owns the Simrad brand, in 2018.
