$5.5m contract for DOF Subsea

DOF Subsea UK has been awarded a contract worth around $5.5m by Noble Energy Mediterranean to provide it with offshore hydrographic, geophysical surveying and shallow water geotechnical investigations for the Tamar and Dalit natural gas fields development project offshore from Israel.

The Aberdeen based company, part of the worldwide DOF Subsea Group headquartered in Bergen, Norway, plans to complete the undertaking before the end of this year using an in-house AUV and

Geosund,

one of its fleet of 24 offshore vessels supported by over 40 ROVs.

Meanwhile, the DOF Group itself says it is presently engaged in an extensive newbuilding programme involving 11 new vessels and 16 new Triton XLX ROVs.
