Del Norte to host Hypack seminars
Doncaster UK based hydrographic software and systems specialists Del Norte Technology is to host a three day Hypack training seminar in September.
The company, whose customers include 48 UK ports and numerous others overseas, will convene at the local Best Western Mount Pleasant Hotel from 18-20 September. Hypack’s chief executive Pat Sanders and a team of engineers will be on hand to discuss the US company’s established ranges of Hypack, Hysweep and DredgePack software packages in service with over 4,000 users worldwide. Proceedings will also include a one day multibeam training course.
According to managing director Laurie Smith at Seawork, Del Norte also plans to stage a similar training seminar in Lagos, Nigeria towards the end of June. Meanwhile, the company reported at Seawork that it has recently completed a six month positioning project in support of digging operations as part of decommissioning work at the Bradwell nuclear power station in Essex. Involving precision accuracies of just 2cm, the work was carried out on behalf of Red7 Marine of Great Yarmouth.
