Marine Measurement Forum Upcoming
Sonardyne International is to host the 42nd Marine Measurement Forum at the DeVere Warbrook House and Grange in Eversley, Hook, Hampshire UK on Tuesday 15 April.
The wreck, which according to Navy officials poses no hazard to shipping, lies at a depth of 1,130m just south of the South Shetland Islands off the Antarctic Peninsula. As usual, the regular non-profit one-day venture will review a wide range of issues affecting marine scientific measurements from research, instrumentation and survey perspectives. It will therefore be of particular interest to representatives of research centres, academia, manufacturers, survey companies, dredging organisations, port authorities and offshore oil concerns.
Proceedings will feature around a dozen non-commercial 20 minute presentations, suggestions for which are wanted by Sonardyne by no later than the end of this month at marketing@sonardyne.com. A finalised programme will be available in March with attendance restricted to 75 on a first come, first served basis. The cost of registration is £35, covering also a hot buffet lunch and refreshments. Further details are at www.mmf-uk.org.
