New Systems from MK Services

Specialist distributors MK Services of Leighton Buzzard showed a number of advanced systems at seawork.

With seven settings for high-resolution paper speeds, programmable logging and relay of data to PC’s, systems have a depth capability of 2,000m and are ideal for precision surveys and pre and post-dredging operations, says Nautikaris managing director, Rob Karis.

For example a GIB portable tracking system with 3D sub-metric positioning accuracy from Advanced Concepts & Systems Architecture (ACSA) of France, which can be complemented by real-time 3D visualisation packages to provide multiple underwater views with sonar and echosounder input.

ACSA says it will also have available later this year a new 3D sonar imaging system currently being developed by Benthos in the US.
